Trick or Treat Tee

History's first trick, dressed up as a treat.

A giant wooden horse rolls up to the front step under a full moon, wearing a dollar-store witch hat and holding a jack-o'-lantern candy pail in its teeth. Big, innocent eyes. Very polite. Totally normal trick-or-treater. Meanwhile the hatch in its belly is wide open, and four Greek soldiers in crested helmets are peeking out. One of them is shushing the others. The plan hasn't changed in three thousand years: say "treat," mean "trick."

Beware of Greeks bearing candy buckets.
