Not a single trick-or-treater. So he reaches over to the grandfather clock and nudges the hand back. Halloween runs a little longer when you're the one in charge of when things end.

This year it isn't even cheating: Halloween lands on a Saturday and the clocks fall back at 2 AM, so the night gets an extra hour. Twenty-five hours of Halloween. He plans to kill every one of them.
